Did you modify the release date in Pricing Tab of iTunes Connect for your App? If not then do so next time you release an update and you'll be in the New Releases list. In fact it may not be too late for this release....well worth doing

When you get the e-mail from Apple stating that your application is ready for sale, you should immediately change the "release date" to the current date.

Don't change it to a future date when you upload your next update, otherwise your app will no longer appear in iTunes for sale at all until that date arrives.

I think each and every developer had to learn how this works with their first app.

Tried it. No luck.
After all the weird things I've heard about the AppStore, I should have known I shouldn't take anything for granted. But I will definitely remember this for the next update.

Why? Did it count wrong :)
Maybe I should have a disclaimer in the app. To avoid being sued.
